Her lyrics discuss relatable problems of self doubt and anxiety while discolsing the isolation of her newfound fame. “Red Shaydez” is a stage name she developed from a pair of red sunglasses her aunt bought for her as a child: “Red” represents her drive and passion, while “Shaydez” is a twist on her nickname Shay that symbolizes her vision of the world and point of view behind her sunglasses. With this consistently empowering brand, Red Shaydez is taking the local music scene by storm. She is a musician, professional video producer, public speaker, educator, and youth mentor.
